Camillo is a doctoral candidate at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa. In his talk, he will report on recent works with Luigi Ambrosio, Shayan Aziznejad, Sergio Conti and Michael Unser (https://arxiv.org/abs/2210.04077 and https://arxiv.org/abs/2302.12554), on a variational problem motivated by applications to image reconstructions: finding the extremal points for the unit ball in a certain function space (i.e., the space of functions with bounded Hessian-Schatten variation).
