In this talk we explore some mean field theory-based models for sustainable mobility and development. Mean field theory is a relevant mathematical framework used to study complex system with an huge number of possibly interacting agents, where only a statistical description of some quantities of the system is available. In this talk we will show some recent advances in the mathematical treatment of this kind of systems, applying them to a problem of optimal solar panel deployment and to a problem of mobility network design.
