Il 27-28-29 Agosto il Dipartimento di Informatica ospiterà due conferenze di primissima importanza a livello europeo:
- Euromicro Conference on Digital System Design è alla sua 17a edizione e si occupa di tutti gli aspetti inerenti i sistemi embedded, pervasivi, ad alte prestazioni, microarchitetture, progettazione, simulazione e verifica di circuiti digitali ad elevata integrazione.
- Euromicro Conference on Software Engineering and Advanced Applications si occupa invece di Ingegneria del Software ed è alla sua 40a edizione.
Euromicro (
http://www.euromicro.org/About.html) è un'associazione di livello europeo fondata nel 1973 sulla scia della nascita dei microprocessori con lo scopo di promuovere la ricerca scientifica e il trasferimento tecnologico attraverso l'organizzazione di conferenze nel campo ICT e in particolare sulla microelettronica. Gli atti di tutte le conferenze sono pubblicati dall'IEEE a testimonianza della loro autorevolezza.
Complessivamente questo evento porterà a Verona circa 250 ricercatori che avranno l'opportunità di conoscere le attività del nostro Dipartimento con possibili ricadute positive sull'internazionalizzazione della nostra ricerca e dei nostri corsi. Inoltre verrà data ai nostri colleghi e studenti l'opportunità di fruire delle presentazioni scientifiche.

From August 27 to August 29, 2014, the Computer Science Department will host two conferences of primary importance at European level:
- The 17th Euromicro Conference on Digital System Design (DSD) addresses all aspects of (embedded, pervasive and high-performance) digital and mixed hardware/software system engineering, down to microarchitectures, digital circuits and VLSI techniques. It is a discussion forum for researchers and engineers from academia and industry working on state-of-the-art investigations, development and applications.
- The 40th Euromicro Conference series on Software Engineering and Advanced Applications (SEAA) is a long-standing international forum for researchers, practitioners from business and industry, and students to present and discuss the latest innovations, trends, experiences, and concerns in the field of Software Engineering and Advanced Applications in information technology for software-intensive systems.
Euromicro (http://www.euromicro.org/About.html) is an international scientific, engineering and educational organization dedicated to advancing the arts, sciences and applications of Information Technology. The Euromicro conference series is known worldwide for its scientific quality.
The co-located conferences will bring about 250 researchers in Verona; they will have the opportunity to know the activities of our department with positive impact on research collaborations and internationalization of teaching. Department staff and students will have the opportunity to attend both conferences.
