We are looking for candidates with an excellent publication record, an internationally visible research profile, a clear potential to promote and lead research activities, and an interest in teaching students at all levels (BS, MS, PhD).
We aim at recruiting a researcher with a strong background in one of the following areas: Artificial Intelligence, Theory, Software Engineering and Security ( see Research areas ).
Verona is a charmingly beautiful, well-connected city of Roman origin, with an exceptonally high quality of life, and a strategic position between central Europe and the Mediterranean.

• A motivation letter, with a specification of the level in which the candidate is interested (Associate Professor or Professor);
• A curriculum vitae, with a brief research statement;
• A list of selected publications (at least 5 and no more than 12).
Based on the received expressions of interest, the Department will decide whether to open an official call and which selection procedure to follow, including direct recruitment procedures (e.g., Law 240, art. 7, comma 5bis).
