The Department Secretary's Office coordinates the administrative, accounting and financial activities of the Department. It particularly directs all practices concerning: the execution of all things in general connected to accounting and financial management; credit control and recovery; the execution of taxation, contribution and social security procedures; the budget arrangements in accordance with the laws and the patrimonial situation; the management of income (university financing for normal functioning, financing for scientific research from MURST and/or other Public and Private Bodies including the drawing up of contracts or conventions); the management of expenditure for normal functioning and maintenance, investments, equipment and furnishings and scientific research by placing orders with external companies, drawing up freelance work contracts, paying additional staff, etc.); the support and management of practices concerning the institutional activities of the Department's Director and collegial organs (Board and Council); it acts as intermediary between staff, the central university structures and other external organisms, supplying instructions and communications also by means of updating the Website.
