Front Tracking for Hyperbolic Conservation Laws

We introduce the modern theory of hyperbolic conservation laws. The methods used are almost exclusively constructive, and largely based on front tracking. In the last part of the presentation, I will study (using MATLAB) a basic numerical example, where front tracking is combined with splitting methods.
