VVV - Voglio Vedere Verde: virtual simulation of natural ecosystems to express, share and communicate the need for greenery in the environment

This project proposes environmental education courses aimed at young people of different age groups,
carried out through a video game that allows simulation of the insertion of green elements in the urban
context, the evaluation of their ecological, health, and economic characteristics, and the
visualization of the site's evolution over time, based on climatic conditions and citizen care.

The University of Verona will develop the IT tool in collaboration with the Department of
Architecture and Design of the University of Genoa and will remain freely usable on the Internet
even after the end of the project. The training will be aimed directly at all primary and secondary
schools present in the partnership as well as in the context of events organized by the Municipalities
adhering to the same (Verona, Ronco All'Adige). The training will be provided by operators
of the PROUT Research Institute association (senior trainers) and by students of the
University of Verona (junior trainers) who will work as trainees of the degree courses of the
Education Area.
