As part of the Joint Projects initiative of the University of Verona, a cooperation between the Dipartimento di Informatica and Viscount International is proposed with the medium-term goal of developing a digital musical instrument of the piano family.

The two-years project is aimed at prototyping and parameterizing a physical model of the piano working in real time and exhibiting a good and versatile timbral quality.
