Vittoria Cozza (F) (M.Sc. (Eng) 2006 University of Calabria, Italy, Ph.D. 2010 University of Bari, Italy) currently is Assistant Professor at the Computer Science Department, University of Verona, Italy. She holds a Second level Master in Computer Security and Digital Forensics, 2011, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy.
Her research interests include: Information Security, Data Privacy, Information Retrieval and Search Engine Results Personalization, Natural Language Processing.
In February 2019 she won a full time Researcher position (on leave since February 2022) at DUEE SIST DIG Department of Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA), Rome, Italy. In Enea, She mainly worked in data modeling and analysis activities related to ES-PA "Energia e Sostenibilità per la Pubblica Amministrazione" project.
From January 2017 - January 2019 She had worked as Assistant Professor at the Information Engineering Department, University of Padua, Italy.
From 2012 up 2016 she had worked on several research projects as Research Fellow:
2016 "Analisi ed allineamento semantico di sorgenti dati non strutturate" at Department of Electrical & Information Engineering, Polytechnic of Bari, Italy;
2015-2016 "MIB: My Information Bubble" founded by Registro.it at IIT, CNR, Pisa, Italy;
2013-2015 "RIS project, "Ricerca e Innovazione nella Sanità", funded by the Tuscany Region, at Computer Science Department, University of Pisa;
2012-2013 "IMPACT: Information Monitoring, Propagation Analysis and Community detection in Social Network Sites", at Computer Science Department, University of Bologna, Italy.

It encompasses methods for processing textual data and graph analysis. It applies enanched graph search algorithms and heuristic-based ranking measurements. One main objective is providing an easy access to the terabytes of structured data, often inexplored, available in the deep web. It also apply to smaller structured data collections in companies and organizations. |
