The Workshop GAMMA24 - General Advances in Mathematics and Models for Applications will be held on June 24th 2024 at the Department of Computer Science, University of Verona.
Applied mathematics is a field of active research and in continuous development all over the world, due to to its importance for real-life problems. In fact, many physical, chemical, economic, and social phenomena can be effectively modeled and studied with mathematical rigor. In turn, these models are becoming more and more complex, thus requiring efficient and ad-hoc techniques from numerical analysis to provide valuable and reliable simulations.
The aim of the workshop is to gather young researchers working in the broad field of applied mathematics – ranging from the analysis of PDEs, to numerical analysis, probability, and mathematical physics – to have an overview of the recent progresses in mathematical theories and their applications.
