The Department of Computer Science is proud to announce that prof. Roberto Giacobazzi of the University of Arizona has been named a Distinguished Member of the Association for Computing Machinery, the world's largest and most prestigious society of computing professionals, for contributions to the clarification of the roots of precision and imprecision in program analysis.

Prof. Giacobazzi was full professor at the Department of Computer Science - University of Verona until October 2023.
