Learning outcomes

This course provides the required knowledge about information systems, in particular as regards to databases and security, discussing both
methodological and didactic aspects.

Syllabus

- Introduction to information systems: data vs information, spreadsheets vs databases.
- Relational databases: the relational model, the SQL language.
- Pedagogical techniques applied to databases and student's evaluation in the field of databases.
