The research activity aims to address two main objectives within the ARTIC project, namely 1) the study, selection, and definition of virtualization and containerization technologies for the creation of Cyber Ranges that are economical and scalable and, 2) the analysis and definition of new verticals and use cases for simulations and exercises based on Cyber Range focused on the protection of critical infrastructures, with particular reference to honeypots for industrial control systems and the detection of OT attacks based on intrusion detection techniques.
