The main goal of this project is to develop and analyze efficient numerical methods for problems governed by transport partial differential equations (PDEs), with applications across various fields. This project is a joint project with University of Catania, University of Ferrara, and University of Trento, the main objectives of the project are:
High order conservative semi-Lagrangian (SL) schemes.
Optimal control problems and computational social dynamics.
Mathematical models and numerical methods for fluid-structure interaction (FSI) problems.
High order numerical schemes for moving complex-shaped domains coupled with Multiphysics.

The applicability of the proposed schemes and their utility we be demonstrated by considering a variety of applications that range from academic benchmarks to more realistic scenarios and computations close to the industrial sector.
