The project concerns designing and creating a software tool (configurator) that allows the end user to independently customize an entrance door or a shutter. This software tool will allow, through a process guided by a set of questions on constraints and personal preferences, combined with an interactive and engaging graphic interface, to obtain a configuration in total autonomy. The configurator will also have to integrate with the company information system to automatically generate a cost specification, allow the user to complete the order, and obtain direct assistance from a person directly at home, according to a selection based on geo-localization criteria.
