The objective of the research is to study the most efficient and reliable solutions for the implementation of a relational database able to manage the data related to a lithium cell production plant with a large number of data produced by the production plant itself. In addition to real-time data, all plant configurations and settings made by operators will be saved in the database.
The database will be equipped with its own HMI interface to allow operators to configure the plant, and export, visualize, and analyse the historical data related to the production process.
The database will be installed on redundant virtual machines, and a suitable high reliability solution with appropriate backup will have to be designed to ensure that data is not lost and that the plant's service continuity is maintained.
During the research contract, a prototype of the complete system (database + HMI database) will be implemented to validate the new solutions studied.
