The project aims to develop software tools based on Artificial Intelligence techniques that can acquire relevant information for the stipulation of insurance policies starting from hand-written questionnaires filled out by potential customers. The research activities will exploit state-of-the-art tools, identifying limitations and defining the necessary actions (e.g., performing the handwritten text recognition service, searching for the customer's presumed name on specific online services) in order to acquire the relevant data (i.e., determining the VAT number of the potential customer).
