Description
The thesis or internship proposal concerns a study on nanostructured systems composed of inorganic nanoparticles and DNA or RNA for biotechnological and biomedical applications. Nanoparticles of an inorganic nature will be rendered luminescent with fluorophores such as organic dyes or lanthanide ions emitting in the visible or infrared region. The interaction of nanoparticles with nucleic acids will be investigated using optical or calorimetric techniques.
