The course introduce the fundamentals of Human Computer Interaction, describing the historical context of HCI, and concepts that enable computer scientists to design systems that effectively meet human needs.
Interface design and evaluation will be the main topic of the lab activity in the first part.
Finally some lessons on advanced interaction issues in visualization and virtual reality and an introductory module on Brain Computer interface will be proposed.
