Epidemiological methods and clinical epidemiology – 4th exam session (22 September 2021)

Dear Students,

the 4th exam session of the course "Epidemiological methods and clinical epidemiology" (Master's degree in Medical Bioinformatics) will be held as a written test in presence (Aula informatica - Borgo Roma - Policlinico G.B. Rossi (lato sud-ovest) - Piastra servizi) on 22 September at 9:00.

The aim of the test is to verify the knowledge of all the topics discussed and the ability to solve a biomedical problem by analysing health data using STATA software. Alternatively, the student can use R software. The results and their interpretation are reported in written form. In addition, the student has to answer some questions to ascertain the understanding of theory. The student has to specify the software used (STATA or R) by sending an e-mail to Prof Simone Accordini and Dr Alessandro Marcon within 19 September.

The remote exam (online oral test using the Zoom software) is however guaranteed for the students who have a valid reason related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the Crisis Unit has prepared a special request form (https://www.univr.it/it/coronavirus-info-studenti). The form, completed in all its parts and signed by the student, must be sent exclusively via the institutional mailbox to Prof. Simone Accordini who is asked for the possibility to carry out the remote exam.
