In this PGR-GNFM "Controllability and trajectory generation and nonholonomic mechanics" we will investigate two main deeply related topics on Geometric Control Theory and Nonholonomic Systems.

1. Study of the equivalence or of the different of behaviour in controlling certain nonholonomic systems with symmetry by applying an external force or controlling an internal shape.
2. Study of systems that self–propel inside a fluid at low Reynolds number in presence of nonholonomi constraints, and their possible exact finite reduction.
