The leader of the project is PROGETTO LEGNO VENETO which represents the RETE INNOVATIVA REGIONALE called FORESTAOROVENETO. The RIR PARTNER is VENETO GREEN CLUSTER, represented by the legal entity GREEN TECH ITALY.
The project wants to face different topics and legal criticalities linked to the valorization of the wood and the promotion of the economical sustainability of the wood supply chain in Veneto.
The project is structured in the following work package (WP):
• WP1 – Valorization of the small supply chain and the wood of lower value: it aims to enhance the lower value lumber and the forest waste.
• WP2 - Traceability of the wood supply chain by blockchain technology: it points to develop instruments to guarantee the traceability of the wood.
• WP3 – Green building: innovative, eco-friendly and reversible foundation with high affordability for buildings in wood: it focuses on the development and the validation of alternative foundations than the concrete.
• WP4 – Design and engeneering of new machines and plants for the enhacement of the lumber: it aims to improve the productive process for the assembly, the drying and the manufacture of the wood for the green building.
• WP5 – Development and production of innovative materials: it focuses on the creation of new and green materials starting from the forest waste.
• WP6 – Wood and wellness : towards comfort and integrated certifications: it aims to study the link between lumber and psychological wellness and define new classes of comfort.
