The INDICE project was created to promote the adoption and integration of digital technologies within the cultural and creative enterprises of the Veneto Region.
The main objective is to strengthen the innovative capacity of the sector through the experimentation of advanced technological solutions – including Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twin, augmented reality and biometrics – and the creation of a single regional platform for the management and valorization of digital data.
INDICE also aims to support the digital transition, sustainability and competitiveness of the cultural production system, facilitating dialogue between companies, universities, public administrations and stakeholders.

The INDICE project is divided into five work packages (WP) and the Computer Science Department of University of Verona is involved in two of these:

WP4 – A.R.I.A.: innovative museum system with facial recognition, AI and augmented reality to offer personalized and inclusive experiences.
WP5 – Digitalization and valorization of the archaeological heritage, with LLM (Large Language Models), chatbots, conversational interfaces and an advanced archiving platform.
