Course Title: Regularity Theory for Elliptic Partial Differential Equations
Duration: 24 hours
Lecturer: Dr. Annalisa Massaccesi (Verona)
Timetable: Aula Tessari, Wednesday, 13.30-15.30 , Friday, 12.30-14.30, during the second semester.
Start Date: March 7, 2018
Course Topics:  In this course we will address the problem of well-posedness and regularity for elliptic partial differential equations. Analysing the classical tools and literature on the subject, we will address the proof of the Hilbert's XIX problem
given by De Giorgi. The course will be self-contained.

Prerequisites: basic knowledge of functional analysis and measure theory (Sobolev spaces and some harmonic analysis will be recalled anyway).

Bibliography: I will mainly follow Ambrosio's lecture notes on PDE  first 3 chapters  (draft available at the preprint server http://cvgmt.sns.it )
