Study of some basic algebraic structures

Syllabus

* Natural numbers; integer division and greatest common divisor; Bézout's theorem.
* Relations and maps; order relations and lattices; equivalence relations, equivalence classes and quotient set.
* Semigroups and their homomorphisms.
* Groups; Lagrange's theorem; permutation groups; order of elements; cyclic groups.
