Metric regularity property extends the well-known Inverse Function Theorem to the case where the function is neither necessarily regular
nor injective. The goal of this series of lectures consists in studying this property in Banach spaces, giving equivalent characterizations and stability
results (known as Lyusternik-Graves Theorem). In control theory metric regularity can be used to study the controllability through metric regularity
of the reachable map, or stability of first-order necessary conditions for optimal control problems.
